Late. Rev. Joseph Paul before his conversion he is Hindu and communist part active member and atheist in coastal area. In 1941 he finished his bachelor degree and joined in Royal India Air force in British government to serve the nation. He worked as solider pilot during Second World War. After his service he was appointed as Deputy Tahsildar to serve the people. While he is serving the people he traveled many villages to meet the people to serve them. In 1948 in the state of Andhra Pradesh Cholera disease (virus) was spreads and thousands were died. When he went to visit the people the virus was attacked him and he was also a victim of cholera virus. Then all his family members put his bed out of the village. Everybody taught he is also going to die. He is very near to death. At that time one of the evangelist came to that village and he found his bed out of the village. Then he went his bed and told him about Jesus Christ and asked him to pray for him. Then the evangelist prayed for him. Marvelously he received healing and survived from dead. Praise the Lord. Immediately he decided to accept Jesus Christ and told his parents. They were not accepted to join into Christianity. But, he strongly believed in Jesus Christ and accepted Christ and Baptized. When he converted into Christianity all his family members and community members kicked him out from their family. He became alone. Then he resigned his government officer job and went to the evangelist village and he stayed with him. After that he sent him to Vijayawada to study the bible school. He studied Bible School in Vijayawada and joined with Apostle.P.M. Samuel, Indian Pentecostal Church of God. From 1948 to 1951 he was trained with Apostle.P.M.Samuel. In 1951 God has visited him and gave the vision to start the ministry for unreached villages. Then he started the ministry in Hanuman Junction in 1951. At that time there was no one church or no one evangelist around that area near by 50 miles. He is the first evangelistic preacher with Good News of Jesus Christ. When he started his ministry he faced lots of struggles in ministry. They have no food, clothing, many days and days fasting. Many sufferings he faced with his family. He filled with Holy Spirit and God has given him gifts of healing, prophecy and vision. He preached the word of God with authority. He traveled hundreds of villages by foot to spread the word of God. Thousands of people delivered from bondage
